Decorative Tile Workshop

During this weekend class, students can enjoy the process of creating a ceramic relief tile. Together we will explore drawing, cutting clay tiles, transferring designs and carving. This hands-on creative clay experience is designed with beginners in mind, but open to students of any experience level. By the end of the class, participants will leave with a series of 3”X3” and 6”X6” carved relief tiles and an understanding of the process of making a work of art in clay. Pieces will be fired and picked up on a later date determined at the end of the workshop.
