Private Classes
Looking for an individual learning experience tailored to your specific clay interests? We offer private sessions to students interested in anything from wheel throwing to sculpture. We take it at your speed and cover the topics which interest you.
5 Week Sessions | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Small Group Wheel Throwing Classes
These classes meet once a week for five weeks, and focus on exploration of pottery wheel techniques and other facets of the production process such as glaze mixing and application, and kiln loading and firing.
5 Week Saturday Class | 9:00am - 11:30am
Weekend Hand Building Classes
Explore the process of hand building forms in clay, from sculpture to vessels. Participants will have freedom to explore in clay, taking it at their own pace to create as many pieces as time allows over five Saturdays.
2 Day Weekend Workshops | 10:00am - 1:00pm
Decorative Relief Tile Workshop
Explore the process of hand carving a decorative relief tile during this two day workshop! Learn design transfer techniques, the carving process, and make up to three finished glazed tiles.
4 Day Workshop | 10:00am - 2:00pm
Slab Building Platters & Trays Workshop
Learn the process for making hand built platters and trays during this workshop which takes place over four consecutive days. Make up to two finished pieces which we will fire and glaze for you!
4 DAY WORKSHOP | 10:00am - 2:00pm
Sculptural Forms & Vessels Workshop
Discover the process of planning and making large-scale ceramic sculpture and vessel forms over four consecutive days. Participants will leave with a sculpture or vessel of their own creation!
