These private lessons are guided by the individual interests of each student, meeting for 2 hours at a time and booked on a session to session basis. These lessons provide an opportunity for guided learning and exploration alongside John Donovan, an experienced potter, sculptor, and teacher. John has twenty-five years of teaching experience in higher education and fifty years of experience with his hands in clay. He firmly believes that personal creative expression is at the core of the human experience, and holds and insatiable drive for sharing the joy of making well-crafted, thoughtful forms in clay and building community through education.
